The massive housing houses a second-generation R2R DAC, which is built from 212 pieces of extremely precise resistors. This solution does not give the typical chip-based DAC sound, but a much more organic, analog-feeling sound - with detailed, airy, yet natural tones. The sound is further enriched by the classic 12AT7 tube output stage, which lends warmth and smoothness to every recording.

The disc handling is accompanied by a top-loading mechanism and HD850 laser, which ensures stable and accurate reading. The true DSD data stream of SACD discs is transmitted directly to the internal DAC or via digital output (I2S, coaxial), so that every detail of the music reaches the listener intact.

A wide range of connections – RCA, XLR, digital outputs – allows the SCD3.3 to fit into any high-end system. And the dual 66 W transformer power supply provides stable power so that the sound always remains controlled and clear. The exterior is embodied in a massive aluminum housing, weighing almost 10 kg, which creates a sense of seriousness and stability.
