The SIVGA M200 combines a traditional flat-head earbud design with modern materials. Instead of extending deeply into the ear canal, it rests in the outer ear, making it a comfortable alternative for listeners who dislike the more sealed sensation of silicone-tipped in-ear monitors.

The large 15.4 mm dynamic driver operates as a single full-range transducer. Its lightweight enclosure, braided OFC cable and high sensitivity create a straightforward system for portable music players, computers, phones with a headphone output or a suitable USB DAC adapter.

The M200 uses a single 15.4 mm dynamic driver to cover the full audible frequency range. A copper ring reinforces the transparent PET diaphragm, while a high-tension copper coil and powerful magnet complete the motor assembly.

SIVGA describes the tuning as providing moderate bass, natural vocals, bright treble and a wide, relaxed sense of space. The sound heard in practice is also influenced by ear shape, positioning, the selected foam cover and the source device.

The earphone enclosure is precision-machined from aluminium alloy, creating a rigid and durable structure at low weight. A matte champagne anodised finish provides an understated premium appearance, while stainless steel mesh protects the front of the driver.

Braided OFC cable with reinforced connector

High-purity oxygen-free copper conductors are enclosed in a braided transparent TPE jacket. The construction is intended to provide stable signal transmission, a tidy appearance and reduced tangling during everyday use.

The cable is permanently attached to the earphones and cannot be replaced. A spring strain relief supports the frequently flexed section beside the 3.5 mm plug, but the connector should still be removed by holding its metal body rather than pulling the cable.

The SIVGA M200 cable has no built-in microphone, call-control button or in-line volume control. Playback and volume are therefore controlled entirely from the connected phone, music player, computer or amplifier.

The standard 3.5 mm single-ended audio connector can be used directly with a suitable headphone output. A device that only provides USB-C or Lightning requires a separate compatible audio adapter or USB DAC, which is not included.

Classic flat-head fit with foam covers

The M200 rests in the outer ear with the cable routed conventionally downwards. Its flat-head form does not extend deeply into the ear canal, creating a more open and less sealed wearing sensation than a silicone-tipped IEM.

The supplied foam covers can improve grip, refine the fit and alter the perceived amount of bass. Trying the different covers as well as using the earphones without a cover helps identify the most comfortable and stable arrangement.

Fit varies between listeners

A flat-head earbud does not seal the ear canal like a silicone-tipped IEM. Stability, bass response and the amount of ambient sound heard may therefore depend more strongly on ear shape and positioning.

Openings on the side of the enclosure and the perforated front mesh form part of the driver's acoustic environment. Clear L and R markings identify the left and right channels for correct placement.

By nature, the classic earbud structure provides less isolation, allowing more external sound in and more music to leak out than a sealed in-ear model. In quieter surroundings, this can create a more spacious, less enclosed listening sensation.

What should you consider during use?

The M200 is straightforward to use, but source compatibility, volume and fit are all important for safe and balanced everyday listening.

Source compatibility

Use it directly with a 3.5 mm headphone output. A suitable DAC adapter is required for a digital-only connection.

Careful volume setting

With a specified sensitivity of 114 dB, begin at low volume and increase it gradually to a comfortable listening level.

Cable and mesh protection

Use the case for transport, hold the plug by its body and clean the protective mesh only with a soft, dry tool.

Choose the microphone-free M200 if...

You want classic wired earphones that seal the ear canal less than an IEM, value a metal enclosure, large dynamic driver and 3.5 mm connection, but do not require a built-in microphone or in-line remote control.
