The ONIX XMT20 completes the Zenith line as its first streamer built on a newly developed Linux based platform, delivering cleaner, faster, and more stable streaming capabilities. Designed as a pure transport, it pairs the refined digital stage and power supply philosophy of the XST20 SACD with a streamlined, endpoint focused system. With native Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, and Roon Ready support, plus fully optimized playback from USB drives or an internal M.2 SSD, it offers fully gapless Hi Res performance and effortless control through the Eddict Controller app.

Crafted in the signature Zenith aesthetic, the XMT20 features a robust CNC milled aluminium chassis and the iconic ONIX golden wheel. Six digital outputs, consisting of Coaxial, Optical, BNC, AES/EBU, USB, and an advanced FPGA assisted I2S with ten selectable pinouts ensure broad DAC compatibility. Dual KDS precision oscillators reduce jitter, while DLNA, AirPlay 2, and newly added CD playback/ripping support (via USB CD drives or Shanling CR60) expand its versatility.

Created for discerning listeners seeking a stable, elegant, and high performance digital hub, the XMT20 integrates seamlessly into high end systems or any premium DAC. The unit weighs 5.2kgs.

Bring the Zenith experience to life with the XMT20 Streamer, XST20 SACD player and XDA20 DAC and Headphone amp!

Zenith Series

ONIX Zenith XMT20

High-end network streamer and digital transport with TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Roon Ready, AirPlay 2, DLNA, USB and M.2 NVMe playback.

ONIX Zenith XMT20 high-end network streamer and digital transport

A pure digital source for high-end audio systems

The ONIX Zenith XMT20 is a dedicated network streamer and digital transport designed to send a high-quality digital audio signal to an external DAC. It has no built-in digital-to-analogue converter or analogue audio output, making it an ideal source component for systems that already include a suitable DAC. Its in-house Linux-based platform is engineered for fast, stable and focused music playback.

Streaming, local playback and CD ripping

The XMT20 combines high-resolution network playback and local music libraries in one refined digital hub.

Integrated streaming support

TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect and Roon Ready support, plus AirPlay 2, DLNA and NAS compatibility for flexible network playback.

USB and M.2 NVMe storage

Gapless high-resolution local playback from a USB drive of up to 2 TB or an M.2 NVMe SSD installed in the bottom storage slot.

CD playback and ripping

Compatible with standard USB CD drives and the Shanling CR60. Discs can be played directly or ripped to USB storage or an installed SSD.

Six digital outputs for broad DAC compatibility

Alongside optical, coaxial, BNC and AES/EBU connections, the XMT20 provides USB Audio and an FPGA-assisted I2S output. Ten selectable I2S pinout configurations make it easier to match a wide range of I2S-capable DACs. Dual high-precision KDS oscillators are used to reduce jitter and maintain accurate digital signal transmission.

Zenith design and precise operation

The CNC-machined aluminium chassis, signature gold ONIX control wheel and 3.4-inch touchscreen follow the established design language of the Zenith series. Music playback and library management are handled through the Eddict Controller app for Android and iOS. A 25 VA Talema transformer provides a stable power foundation.
