The YD302 was developed as an integral part of the new YBA Design product range, optimized with its functionality, connectivity, and overall design for the ideal Hi-Fi system combination. Pair it with the YBA YT302 SACD transmission, utilizing the advanced I2S connection to create a true DSD audio chain. Then add the YP302 for a top-tier headphone amplifier, or the YA302 integrated amplifier to complete this excellent Hi-Fi system.

The YD302 is the first YBA device built around a new DAC module, utilizing two units of ROHM Semiconductors' flagship BD34301 DAC. Yves-Bernard André and our team of experienced engineers have tuned the popular YBA sound while elevating the level of resolution and captivating sound quality to meet the high-fidelity demands of the YBA Design product line.

While the YD302 focuses on the I2S input, complementing the Design line, it continues to offer the full range of classic Hi-Fi inputs. The advanced XMOS XU316 allows for simple and excellent sounding connection to any computer, while the combination of coaxial, optical, BNC, and AES/EBU provides quick connection to all classic Hi-Fi components.
For the most demanding users, the YD302 also provides external masterclock support. It supports a 44.1 kHz output and 44.1 kHz / 10 MHz input.

Combining over 40 years of Hi-Fi experience, the YD302 adheres to the strictest construction standards: a robust CNC-machined aluminum body, stable and silent German 48 VA UI transformer, carefully matched Vishay capacitors, and the classic YBA design with an optimized three-legged base.
