AUDIOENGINE D1 - 24-bit Desktop DAC and Headphone Amp

D1 internal converter
The D1 uses the AK4396 DAC, which is favored due to its low noise level and high loyalty. Thanks to AK4396's high signal-to-noise specifications and double redundancy power source conversion and filtration, the D1 delivers impressive low noise levels and low distortion. D1 can process digital sound up to 24 bits and any sampling frequency up to 192 kHz at any bit depth.

D1 Headphone Amplifier
The D1 includes a headphone amplifier based on the TI OPA2134 low-noise opamp. The powerful headphone output is designed for a wide range of headphones and satisfies even the most demanding headphone enthusiasts.

D1 power supply
The D1 is powered directly from the USB bus and the power supply goes through two control stages to ensure that the change in the power supply of the USB bus does not affect the sound quality.
