The multi stage, low noise LDO regulation ensures a clean, stable current flow throughout the circuitry, producing exceptionally pure and noise free signal transmission.

Powered by the XMOS XU216 USB interface, the Gustard R26II supports playback of up to PCM 768kHz/32bit and DSD512 over USB. Through the I²S input, it can even process native DSD2048, offering 32× the resolution of standard SACD (DSD64). In DIRECT DSD mode, signals are processed without PCM conversion, preserving every nuance of the original recording — from dynamic range to transient precision.

The built in Gustard Network Bridge System (r26.local), co developed with CelAudio, employs a purpose built, minimalist architecture designed exclusively for high end audio. The CelWare 3.x platform prioritizes audio I/O at the kernel level for bit perfect playback with minimal system noise. The streamer supports AirPlay, Roon, UPnP/DLNA, HQPlayer NAA, and Spotify Connect, ensuring effortless integration into any modern digital audio ecosystem.

A fully discrete Class A low pass filter sits behind the R 2R conversion stage, meticulously tuned for sonic transparency and tonal accuracy. With a THD+N of ≤0.003%, a dynamic range exceeding 117 dB, and a frequency response of 20 Hz – 20 kHz (±0.2 dB), the R26II produces an exceptionally natural, musical presentation.

The RCA outputs deliver 2.5 Vrms, while the balanced XLR outputs provide 5.0 Vrms (both fixed level), allowing optimal matching with external preamps or active monitors.

A dedicated 10 MHz external clock input is available for users seeking even greater precision using a high accuracy master clock. The rear panel features all essential connections — LAN, USB, IIS, AES/EBU, coaxial, optical inputs, as well as RCA and XLR outputs. Separate antennas are provided for Bluetooth and firmware updates, ensuring both connectivity and long term software support.
