The Return of the Legend
The SR-009, ancestor of STAX's current high-end models. Equipped with a large, circular sound unit and innovative fixed electrodes, this model led the high-end headphone culture for a long time. Production ceased with the arrival of a new flagship model, but now, responding to the request of fans worldwide, it returns. By changing the body color, cable material, and housing, it is now available at a more affordable price than at its original launch.
Technology
The SR-009 (introduced in 2011) was the catalyst for the current high-end SR-X9000 and SR-009S models. The key technology of the high-end models, the MLER (multi-layer electrode) ?is derived from this model. The heat-diffusing bonding technology, applying it under vacuum conditions at the atomic level to bond photolithographically etched plates, this new fixed electrode provides an extraordinary surface, achieving low resonance and high sound wave transmission.

Unique Cable System
The SR-009D uses the interchangeable cable system, which is now standard equipment on all members of the current product line. This improves the usability of the headphones by allowing for future compatibility with high-quality cables and easy maintenance in the event of unexpected cable breakage.
Headband
The headband has a ten-step click mechanism to fit different head shapes properly.
