The fully open design and the new nanometer-thickness diaphragm serve the speed and precision of the planar driver, while the removable magnetic covers (veils) reduce acoustic obstacles for an even more direct sonic experience.
Unveiled Stealth Magnet planar driver – fewer obstacles, more musical information - The core element of the Susvara Unveiled is the planar driver based on Stealth Magnet technology, driven by an extremely thin, low-mass (nanometer) diaphragm. The essence of the "unveiled" concept is that by removing the magnetic covers, grilles and other reflective surfaces are eliminated from the sound path. Thus, the diaphragm moves more freely, and the wavefront is less distorted, resulting in audibly cleaner transients, finer decays, and greater micro-detail richness.
Natural tonality and high resolution – evolving the virtues of the Susvara. HIFIMAN's goal was to further refine the Susvara's characteristically natural, warm, yet highly transparent sound signature. The Susvara Unveiled combines excellent resolution with a measured high-frequency character and a richly colored midrange.
