The OrionStar CarryBot D150 is a high-payload Autonomous Mobile Robot designed to automate internal material-handling operations in manufacturing plants, warehouses, logistics centres and micro-fulfilment environments. Its autonomous navigation, reliable obstacle avoidance and multi-layer safety architecture enable flexible and secure transportation, even in continuously changing industrial settings.

CarryBot can be configured with a variety of shelves, trays, transport racks and customised payload modules, making it suitable for moving components, parcels, finished products, raw materials and larger inventory units. The platform has a typical payload capacity of 100 kg and a maximum payload of up to 150 kg, while the individual trays can carry loads of up to 30 kg each.

Marker-free V-SLAM+ technology enables rapid deployment without navigation tags, floor markings or costly modifications to the facility. It also allows the robot to adapt automatically to changes in the production layout. A 240-degree LiDAR, three depth cameras, fisheye cameras, infrared sensors, odometry and an IMU work together to provide accurate localisation and reliable three-dimensional obstacle detection.

CarryBot can achieve positioning accuracy of up to 1 cm and navigate through passages as narrow as 65 cm, making it highly effective in narrow warehouse aisles and space-efficient logistics environments. When multiple robots operate simultaneously, the system automatically coordinates their routes and right-of-way, allowing transport capacity to be scaled easily as production or order-picking requirements increase. The robot also features intelligent follow-me functionality based on either human recognition or QR-code tracking, enabling it to follow an operator safely in dynamic environments.

Its independent suspension system and near-circular chassis ensure stable movement across uneven surfaces, allowing the robot to negotiate thresholds of up to 10 mm and floor gaps of up to 30 mm. With an operating time of up to 12 hours, automatic return to the charging station and a charging time of approximately 4.5 hours, the CarryBot D150 supports extended operation with minimal supervision.

Its 14-inch Full HD user interface, more than 490 available APIs and multiple hardware expansion options enable straightforward integration with Enterprise Resource Planning, Warehouse Management and Manufacturing Execution Systems. By significantly reducing manual material handling, the CarryBot D150 can improve workplace safety and increase the productivity, flexibility and responsiveness of intralogistics operations.
