The OrionStar LuckiBot is an autonomous AI delivery robot designed to transport food, beverages, equipment and other light loads while also supporting customer guidance, promotion and interactive communication. It is particularly suitable for restaurants, hotels and hospitality venues, but can also be used in supermarkets, offices, healthcare facilities, nursing homes and manufacturing environments.
The robot can be configured with three or four transport trays, each capable of carrying up to 10 kg, with a maximum total payload of 40 kg. The 50 × 43 cm trays allow multiple meals, beverages or items to be transported simultaneously. During one delivery cycle, the robot can serve up to four different tables.
In high-traffic restaurants, LuckiBot can complete more than 400 deliveries per day, significantly reducing the physical workload placed on service staff. LiDAR, RGBD depth cameras, visual positioning, odometry and IMU data are combined to provide precise navigation and safe obstacle avoidance. Small objects can be detected rapidly, and the robot can stop within approximately 0.5 seconds when a hazard is identified.
A multi-link self-levelling suspension system keeps the trays stable on uneven or slippery surfaces. Under typical operating conditions, LuckiBot can work for up to 10 hours on one charge. Its 10.1-inch Full HD display, six-microphone system and support for more than 30 languages allow it to welcome guests, present offers, provide directions and function as an active promotional platform.
The robot can also assist with collecting used tableware from multiple tables. LuckiBot therefore improves operational efficiency, reduces manual carrying tasks and contributes to a modern and engaging guest experience.
