ROHM BD34301EV DAC CHIP
The SMSL D300 converter uses the BD34301EKV DAC chip, the flagship of the ROHM brand, with a very low distortion level of -116 dB and great transparency. It also supports high resolution audio streams.
XMOS XU-208 USB INPUT
The USB input of the D300 uses the XMOS XU-208 32bit chip. This allows accurate decoding of USB audio streams and, when combined with the ROHM DAC, allows playback of up to 768 kHz/32bit PCM and native DSD512 resolution.
CK-03 CLOCK PROCESSING CIRCUIT
The D300 incorporates a brand new CK-03 clock processing circuit to ensure the lowest possible jitter levels for coaxial, optical and USB inputs.
INTEGRATED SHIELDING
The SMSL DAC features a shielded power supply for low noise. This solution effectively reduces interference and noise for clear and precise sound.
Low consumption
The D300 power supply is also optimised for low power consumption. It uses low-noise discrete components.
Bluetooth 5.0
With its Qualcomm receiver chip and antenna, the D300 supports Bluetooth 5.0, so you can connect to the devices you want, such as a smartphone, for convenient remote streaming. It also supports aptX, aptX HD and LDAC high-definition codecs.
