The open grille structure contributes to the headphones' natural acoustic behaviour, as it only minimally obstructs the air moving behind the diaphragm, which is an important design element of planar magnetic systems.

The Sundara Silver Version uses standard 3.5 mm connectors on each side, providing a stable mechanical connection and allowing simple cable replacement. This is especially beneficial for long-term use, as well as for those who want to use their headphones with premium or balanced cables.

The included 3-metre cable is made with low-resistance conductors to make signal transmission as lossless as possible. The left and right channels are clearly marked, making connection easier.

The 32-ohm impedance and 92 dB sensitivity create a favourable balance between drivability and performance. The Sundara Silver Version can be used with headphone amplifiers, DAC/AMP devices, as well as many portable players and certain mobile devices.

Although the headphones can already be driven from lower-power sources, to make full use of their capabilities, a high-quality dedicated headphone amplifier or DAC/AMP is recommended, providing sufficient current reserve and control for the planar magnetic driver.
