IBASSO AMP18 - Replaceable transistor amplifier module for iBasso DX300, DX320 and DX340 players

The AMP18 breaks through the size limitations caused by the limited space of AMP boards. It uses 40 double transistors to create an 80-transistor matrix, which is a significant difficulty. Thanks to the excellent circuit design and a large number of high-quality transistors, the AMP18 has higher current output, better low-impedance headphone compatibility, and outstanding sound performance.

The AMP18 adopts a cascade current feedback circuit that effectively eliminates the transient distortion caused by large-loop, deep negative feedback, while maintaining dynamic range and impressive transient response!

The AMP18 adopts a two-stage amplification structure. The first stage uses operational amplifiers and transistors to accurately restore the details of the sound source thanks to the low noise characteristics of the OPAMP, while the transistors increase the signal driving ability to prevent initial signal attenuation.

The second stage uses a current mirror amplification with complementary outputs for current output. This circuit structure provides linear amplification, eliminating signal distortion. The rise and fall of beats are crisp and clear, with natural decay, such as the overtones of a violin or the detail of a vocal, and the details are clear and distinct, as if listening live.

The AMP18 uses a complementary output circuit that significantly reduces the asymmetric distortion typical of traditional transistor output stages.

The AMP18 supports an external 12V DC power supply, resulting in a voltage fluctuation of +/-12V. In super-amplified mode, it delivers a remarkable 1740mW + 1740mW of power into 32Ω.
