ETYMOTIC ER2XR - Single Dynamic Driver Reference In-ear Monitor Earphones
The Etymotic ER2XR is a precisely tuned dynamic-driver in-ear monitor that combines Etymotic’s deep-insertion design with powerful passive noise isolation. With a 20 Hz - 16 kHz frequency response, 15 Ohm impedance and 96 dB sensitivity, it delivers detailed, controlled sound while remaining easy to drive.
Its “eXtended Response” tuning adds fuller bass alongside a balanced midrange and treble, while preserving Etymotic’s clean, focused character. Passive isolation reaches 35 dB with silicone ear tips and up to 42 dB with foam ear tips, creating a quieter listening background without active noise-cancelling electronics.
The CNC-machined anodised aluminium housing provides a compact, durable structure, while the detachable MMCX cable supports easier long-term maintenance. The Etymotic ER2XR is designed for precise audiophile in-ear listening, travel, work and focused music sessions where isolation, clarity and controlled bass matter.
