High-end DAP architecture:
Lotoo designed the Paw S2 like their high-end digital audio playback systems. The Paw S2 has Blackfin DSP, advanced 2x8 layer HDI PCB. The analog card here employs a low-noise, low-temperature drift metal film resistor with a thousandth of an accuracy.
Highly accurate phase-locked loop:
The Lotoo Paw S2 uses AK8142, a programmable clock generator IC with an integrated fractional N PLL. Previously, they implemented the same clock generator in their high-end digital audio players. It is a highly accurate jitter watch that effectively reduces vibrations from the USB and SRC interface, giving you excellent performance with the device.
Powerful output with standalone headphone amplifier:
The Lotoo Paw S2 features a dedicated headphone amplifier that delivers up to 150 mW @ 32 Ω via a 4.4 mm symmetrical headphone output. With a 3.5mm conventional headphone output port, the Paw S2 delivers up to 125 mW @ 32 Ω load.
Media control buttons:
Directly under the side "fn" button, the Paw S2 also has three media control buttons. While two are only for volume and menu navigation, the middle button can be used to play/pause music playback.
