TOPPING A90
Ultra High Quality (UHP) Desktop Headphone Amplifier
The Topping A90 is a real big shot in the entire market for headphone amplifiers: exceptional performance desktop headphone amplifier / preamplifier.
The symmetrical output of SINAD up to 123 dB (measured by audio science review) and an incredibly low distortion of 0.000086%, the A90 significantly expands the boundaries of what the most advanced home audio equipment can offer.

The Topping A90 stereo has a symmetrical 3-pole XLR input and a conventional input stereo RCA connector on the back. It also offers symmetrical (XLR) / conventional (RCA) option as a pre-amplified output.
The headphone amplifier connectors are on the front panel. The A90 has all the necessary connections for easy connection to headphones /IEM with various features and requirements: symmetrical output on the 4-pole XLR connector, a second symmetrical output on the TRRS 4.4 mm connector. Symmetric headphone outputs are capable of delivering 250 mW of power and have an output impedance of 0135 Ω.
Finally, the front panel offers traditional output on the 6.35 mm connector with 125 mW output.

The A90 preamplifier/ headphone amplifier uses the rotary button on the front to adjust the volume.
The three tilt switches on the front allow you to easily control all device functions to immediately find the most suitable configuration for your settings.
The first selector allows you to select the output mode and you can switch between preamp mode and earphone amplifier mode. These two modes cannot be active at the same time. This switch is also used to turn off the device.
The second bipolar selector serves as a source choice and allows the user to choose between symmetrical and traditional inputs. Therefore, it is possible to connect two separate devices to each input and use the A90 as a simple source selector.
The last selector is a amplification control with three levels (low amplification / medium amplification / high amplification) to deliver the best performance according to the sources and type of headphones used.
