The Topping DX7 Pro is a model of versatility and performance. This DAC provides a wide range of connectivity, covering the vast majority of potential integrations in the HiFi audio system, combined with intelligent architecture that supports high sampling rates and rich and accurate audio reproduction.

The Topping DX7 Pro features an ES9038Pro ESS chip that is more powerful than the DX7's ES9038Q2M duo. This new chip offers better signal-to-noise ratio and lower distortion levels for ever more accurate, richer and cooler sound reproduction. In addition, this chip supports a high sampling rate.
The USB interface page is once again familiar to audiophiles, the XMOS XU208 chipet.

The DX7 Pro version of Topping is also new, it is now equipped with Bluetooth 5..0 Qualcomm CSR8675 chips. While this type of connection is particularly convenient as it offers remote transmission directly from a smartphone or tablet, it is synonymous with sound quality as this chip supports aptX, aptX LL, aptX-HD and LDAC protocols. These protocols allow for faster, more stable signal transmission, but especially for LDAC, they also support higher sampling rates, as this protocol can decode PCM streams up to 24bit to 96kHz (24bit 48kHz for aptX HD).

To connect, the DX7 Pro offers a full panel. The rear panel has USB-B (XMOS), optical, coaxial, I2S, AES/EBU and Bluetooth antennas. On the output side, the DX7 Pro offers symmetrical XLR, asymmetric RCA on the rear panel. The front of the unit features headphone outputs with a 6.35mm jack, a 4.4mm symmetrical jack and a 4-pin XLR symmetrical connector.

The DX7 Pro circuits are designed to be fully symmetrical. Thus, the analog part includes separate OPA 1612 operational amplifiers for each channel, and the headphone amplification of each channel is assigned to an independent TPA6120A2 chip.

The Topping DX7 Pro delivers optimal headphone output performance with two TPA6112A2 amplifiers. Thus, in addition to supporting the DSD1024 and 32Mbit 768kHz PCM, it has a high-quality analog output stage that can power a very large part of audiophile headphones with a 4-pin symmetrical XLR output.
This allows the DX7 Pro to offer a lower level and therefore more accurate reproduction, very low distortion and high linearity. In dynamics, outstanding in detail and neutrality.
