The YBA Design One is the first portable, battery-powered SACD/CD player from the French high-end brand, combining a disc player, a DAC and a headphone amplifier in a single slim, compact chassis. Personally designed by the brand's founder, Yves Bernard André, its tuning carries the refinement of the French sound. Only 1,000 units are made worldwide.
The AKM AK4497S DAC and the discrete headphone amplifier deliver up to 1650 mW from the 4.4 mm balanced output, driving even the most demanding headphones with ease. One device works as an SACD and CD player, a USB DAC, a CD transport, and a preamp output for active speakers or an amplifier. The built-in battery gives up to 5.5 hours of cord-free listening, so the sound quality stays with you from room to room and desk to desk.
The YBA Design One brings together French tuning, high-end components and a carefully designed compact build, getting the most out of every disc. It combines the ritual of physical media with modern, versatile connectivity, so the luxury of collecting discs sounds from a slim, refined chassis. A rare, collectible high-end player that reproduces the sound of CD and SACD at its most beautiful.
