Encased in a brushed aluminum chassis, the CD430 MKII features a minimalist front panel with YBA’s signature oval display and central disc tray which houses a Philips CDM4 system. It offers both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analog outputs, as well as digital coaxial and optical outputs for use as a transport. Internally, suspended transformers and optimized circuit geometry reduce vibration and signal path length, enhancing sonic clarity. Aside from the USB XMOS XU208 digital input, a Qualcomm CSR8675 chip is also available which allows for aptX HD and LDAC quality Bluetooth signal transmissions.
