PORTABLE HIGH DEFINITION PLAYER
Beijing-based Infomedia Group is China's largest broadcasting/studio technology development company. However, the giant company that also develops and produces for Swiss Nagra is not only at home in studio technology, but also in its "conversion" to portable size for demanding consumers. The Lotoo brand was created in 1999 as a manufacturer of professional audio devices, with the aim of offering the highest quality professional recording and playback products in the world.
Studio Technical Genes
Leveraging experience in the development and manufacture of professional equipment, in 2014, Lotoo introduced its most advanced high-definition player, PAW Gold 24CT. Its thoughtfulness and build quality made it an industry reference, and its sound quality made it one of audiophiles' top favorites in the all-round class masterpiece above. Infinitely precise and analytical sound with user-adjustable parametric equalizer and digital reverb adjustment.
Design
Lotoo PAW Gold 24 CT is a high-strength aluminum alloy used in the aerospace industry that is machined by CNC machines. Careful material selection and computer-controlled machining resulted in a solid, almost indestructible chassis. The high-density alloy behaves acoustically neutral, making it immune to microvibrations and excellent at cancelling out external electrical interference.
The mechanical controls are designed to ensure failsafe, fail-safe operation. Microswitches used in professional production, potentiometer guarantee stable quality. The display is consciously designed to ensure that music sounds the same even when the battery is low, even when the brightness of the display is reduced. The display is perfectly readable even at low brightness.
Processor technology
The Analog Device Inc.'s Blackfin BF514 DSP main processor executes all operating system commands in real time, follows our instructions in the blink of an eye, and supports the player's extensive EQ and tonal styling.
PAW Gold's 24CT DAC circuit is based on a Burr-Brown PCM1792 DAC chip that supports an absolutely stable and accurate clock speed. The DAC supports decoding of 16-24 bit / 8 kHz to 384 kHz PCM files and decoding of DSD64 (2.8 MHz) and DSD128 (5.6 MHz) files.
The Texas Instruments LME49600 amplification module delivers ultra-high performance to support the widest range of headphones and earbuds.
