The lifespan of the earpiece
The memory foam material of COMPLY™ products with dampened rebound wears down and deteriorates with use, which is its intended purpose. Its lifespan depends on usage and individual characteristics. With average use, approximately 2-4 months per pair. The way the ear tips are used, the body's chemical composition (earwax, sweat, etc.), and the environment all affect their lifespan. To make COMPLY™ ear tips last as long as possible, make sure to always "prepare the ear tips" (compress the memory foam before inserting it into your ear), occasionally clean visible dirt carefully, and store your headphones in a case when not in use. Replace the ear tips if they start to "fray," tear, or lose their memory foam properties (for example, if the foam expands noticeably faster than initially).
