HIFIMAN ISVARNA
Over-ear closed design wired hybrid planar and dynamic headphones
The Isvarna is a hybrid flagship model in which HiFiMan's excellent planar and special dynamic bass drivers create a stunning synergy, eliminating phase differences.
The closed design aluminum housing accommodates an outward-facing planar magnetic driver alongside an inward-facing 30x50mm oval sub driver and its corresponding air grille. The headphones operate between 6Hz and 60000Hz, with a sensitivity of 93dB and 16 Ohm impedance, making it easily drivable by most desktop or portable amplifiers. The Isvarna relies on the manufacturer's proven Nanometer thickness diaphragm and Stealth Magnets technology for interference-free music listening. Its tone is most similar to the HE1000 headphones, but thanks to the driver design, it places stronger emphasis on rich bass sounds without affecting the mids and highs.
With its Norwegian-derived name, Isvarna is a product by HiFiMan aimed at drawing attention in the Hi-Fi market to a new, all-conquering product. The headphones weigh 462g without cables. The package includes a 1.5m (59”) long 3.5mm cable, a 3m (118”) 6.35mm cable, and a 3m (118”) XLR cable.
