The iBasso CB19C is a power-separated OTG Y cable for USB Type-C DAC dongles. Its three dedicated USB-C branches allow digital audio data and external power to reach the DAC through separate paths.
The grey Data connector connects to a phone, tablet or other USB-C source device, while the red Power branch is designed for an external power source such as a power bank. The USB-C connector marked with the iBasso logo connects to the DAC dongle, while the braided cable uses high-purity silver-plated copper conductors.
The CB19C can reduce the load on the source device’s battery while supplying the DAC from an external power source. Before use, check whether the selected USB-C DAC supports this power arrangement, as not every DAC dongle is compatible with externally separated power.
