The Epitome features a state-of-the-art design with 20 speakers per side and a 5-way crossover, perfectly blending the sleek wide-range audio reproduction of electrostatic speakers with the high-resolution playback capability of rear air speakers. EST x 8 + BA x 12 Impressive Hybrid, 20 Speaker Configuration
The Epitome has eight EST and 12 BA speakers on each side. The eight EST speakers, used in the ultra-high frequencies, ensure the EST's characteristic wide-band reproduction and natural high-frequency harmonic reproduction, resulting in realistic, open sound. The 12 BA speakers accurately separate high, mid-high, mid, and low frequencies, and the combination of 20 EST and BA speakers works together to create exceptional sound.
5-way crossover architecture with carefully selected high-end components
The Epitome uses carefully selected, high-quality components - including lead resistors - to create a meticulous 5-way crossover system. This strictly regulates the crossover frequency bands and accurately transmits signals through each frequency band.
This results in a seamless, cohesive sound, with clear, consistent tonal quality between the frequency bands.
Based on the complex, multi-layered sound of classical and orchestral music, the system brings out the singer's subtle emotional expression and creates a detailed, natural sound space.
Ultrahigh frequencies: Four dual EST drivers (a total of eight: 10 kHz-20 kHz and 20 kHz+).

High frequencies: One Knowles dual BA driver (a total of two: 6 kHz-12 kHz). The
