Egret’s driver measures 98×84 mm and uses planar magnetic technology that supports highly linear motion and low distortion. The diaphragm is a nano-scale composite with an innovative sandwich structure that incorporates a magnetic cutting layer with a thickness of less than 800 nm. This architecture enables extremely fast transient response and high-resolution sound reproduction. The diaphragm maintains stability across low, mid and high frequencies, ensuring that every detail remains clear and lifelike. Compared to traditional diaphragms, this technology reduces distortion, improves dynamic range and allows precise separation of individual tracks, so the listener can accurately perceive every instrument and vocal line.

An EB evaporation coating is applied to the diaphragm surface to precisely cover the aluminium circuitry. The atomically ordered columnar structure provides accurate control over diaphragm vibration, which improves sound stability and frequency response. The result is a balanced, clean sound signature that faithfully conveys even the finest details while also extending the diaphragm’s operating life.

The package includes a premium, triple-material detachable cable. The conductors are made up of 30 strands of 0.05 mm Furukawa OFC, 10 strands of 0.05 mm silver-plated copper and 10 strands of 0.05 mm enamelled gold-plated copper. This combination ensures low-distortion signal transmission, enhances resolution and enriches fine detail reproduction. The detachable design preserves sound quality over the long term and allows the cable to be easily replaced or upgraded.

The cable’s inner layer is a graphene-reinforced PVC structure that serves both as insulation and as protection against electromagnetic interference. The outer layer consists of three parts: a copper braid, a silver-plated copper braid and a PVC outer sheath. This dual-layer shielding guarantees signal transmission with minimal loss and significantly improves the cable’s durability and tensile strength.

The earcups are crafted from premium North American black walnut, renowned not only for its hardness and density but also for its beautiful, unique grain. Each piece is repeatedly sanded and polished, then treated with multiple layers of finish and air-dried naturally to ensure long service life and a refined visual appearance. The metal components are CNC-machined aluminium with a gunmetal anodised finish that lends an elegant, subtle metallic sheen and a premium, minimalist look. The metal grille pattern is inspired by the wings of an egret: its airy, finely woven structure is not only visually elegant but also acoustically transparent, allowing sound to pass freely without added distortion.

The earpads feature an ergonomic, angled design that fits perfectly around the ears, reduces sound leakage and ensures long-term comfort during extended listening sessions. Inside the pads is slow-rebound foam that distributes pressure evenly, while the skin-friendly lambskin/velour covering helps to minimise fatigue. The headband is adjustable and the earcups can rotate freely to provide an optimal fit for every head shape. Inner L/R markings assist with quick channel identification.

Egret offers a frequency response of 20 Hz–40 kHz and a sensitivity of 95 dB ±3 dB. High frequencies are refined and highly detailed, while mids and bass remain stable and dynamic. The soundstage is well-structured and layered, with clearly separated tracks that allow the listener to pick out every nuance, whether listening to complex orchestral pieces or studio recordings. The 24 Ω impedance ensures broad compatibility with a wide range of amplifiers and audio sources.
