Its core component is the ESS ES9069 DAC, capable of decoding 768 kHz/32 bit PCM and native DSD512, ensuring crystal clear audio resolution. What makes the UA7 special is the two visibly clear JAN6418 vacuum tubes, providing rich tube sound and the option to switch to solid-state output for a clearer, more neutral profile. Combined with an OP+BUF amplifier architecture, the UA7 delivers up to 577 mW of output power at 32 Ω, sufficient to confidently drive high-impedance or high-power-demand headphones.
Housed in a compact aluminum chassis, the UA7 is sleek and robust, weighing just 48.5 g. The 0.87-inch OLED screen provides real-time playback information, while the multifunction wheel offers intuitive control. It features 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced outputs, making it compatible with numerous devices. The USB-C connection ensures plug-and-play use with Android, Windows, and macOS devices, while the Shanling Eddict Player app offers deeper customization (only on Android/Windows devices).
