The SM1.3 offers a modern streaming solution with an advanced interface and flagship-worthy components. A 64-bit Rockchip ARM CPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM and a closed Android 12 system cater to the evolving needs of modern music listeners. Its tuning is based on Shanling's portable player flagship, the M9 Plus, featuring the AKM AK4499EX and AK4191 modulator DAC chip combo, along with the XMOS XU316 USB interface and TPA6120 headphone amplification. It delivers exceptionally detailed and spacious sound with precise audio quality while providing the classic Shanling warmth and smoothness. With precise volume control and an MUSES8920 operating as a preamp, the SM1.3 can be directly paired with power amplifiers or active speakers, offering a simple and high-quality 2-channel speaker setup.
The SM1.3 also provides wireless connectivity options. Bluetooth functionality is available, along with NAS, DLNA, and AirPlay network support over WiFi 6 (2.4G/5G). Through the Bluetooth 5 connection, AAC, aptX HD, and LDAC resolutions are accessible, and the device can be easily controlled remotely via the free Eddict Player application. In addition to optical, coaxial, and USB digital inputs and outputs, I2S HDMI, RCA, XLR, and 6.35mm headphone outputs are available, allowing the SM1.3 to be integrated into nearly any audio system. It can be expanded with SSD and USB-A connected drives.
The SM1.3 is built with a simple and elegant aluminum chassis and features a 5.8" 1080p touchscreen, available in black and silver colors. A versatile upgrade for any music system. The device weighs 6.3kg and the package includes an EU (TYPE-F) plug power cable, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi antennas, a USB-A - USB-C cable, and a remote control.
