Desktop CD Player Drive
The ET3 is a top-quality, more focused member of Shanling's top-loading CD player series, perfectly paired as a dedicated CD drive with High-End DAC (digital-to-analog converter) devices. To play the ET3, it is essential to include a DAC in the system. The heart of the drive is powered by several high-performance components, such as the Ingenic X2000 dual-core chip for low latency, the CT7302CL chip for DSD and PCM upscaling, or the Philips SAA7824 servo and SANYO HD850 CD drive, ensuring stable playback. Besides USB-A input and output, the ET3 offers I2S, AES/EBU, Optical, and COAX outputs, along with Bluetooth 5.0 connection, which supports aptX, aptX HD, and LDAC codecs. The dual-band WiFi supports DLNA and AirPlay protocols, assisting in remote music control and streaming via the free Eddict Player application. The ET3 matches the size of the EH3 DAC and headphone amplifier and is equipped with a 320x290 pixel resolution IPS LCD display. The aluminum housing of the player has a removable cover made with darkened tempered glass. The package includes a power cable and a remote control.
The ET3 was designed together with the EH3 DAC and headphone amplifier, which together, via I2S connection, meet the highest CD and MQA-CD listening demands.
