The LUXSIN X8 combines high-resolution digital signal processing with advanced tuning options. Its design focuses on detailed music reproduction, stable operation, and long-term reliability.

Intelligent processing, headphone-specific HP-EQ, and multiple DSP functions allow the sound to be tailored to the connected headphones and individual preferences.

The X8 uses eight Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC chips in a true dual-mono parallel configuration. Four DACs serve each of the left and right channels, with separate power supplies, circuit layouts, and signal paths.

Precise summing of the parallel analog outputs reduces noise while increasing dynamic range and signal-to-noise ratio. A high-speed data buffer and distribution circuit accurately synchronizes the DACs to prevent timing differences.

Each DAC chip is enclosed in its own shielding cover, isolating the component from the digital circuitry and high-frequency interference. This isolation helps reduce noise and jitter.

The shielding covers also support heat dissipation and thermal balance, maintaining a stable operating environment during extended high-resolution playback.

The Luxsin-customized Digital Audio Core is built around a dual-core HiFi-5 DSP and ARM STAR architecture. The DSP, operating at more than 500 MHz, and the large-capacity on-chip SRAM enable complex real-time audio processing and advanced tuning algorithms.

The AI-assisted EQ personalizes the music profile and fine-tunes details based on voice or text commands. The function can be controlled through a mobile application or web interface with multilingual support.

Luxsin's HP-EQ system uses hardware-level calibration to match headphone frequency response to the Harman curve or other preset target curves. The database contains more than 2,500 headphone models.

Additional DSP functions include Crossfeed, stereo width adjustment, tone control, and Loudness. These settings can adjust spatial presentation, tonal character, and the perceived balance at low listening levels.

The X8 headphone amplifier uses OPA1612 operational amplifiers and TPA6120A2 high-current drivers. This design provides a high output level, low distortion, and linear operation when driving different headphones.

Automatic impedance detection operates across the 4-pin XLR, 4.4 mm, and 6.35 mm headphone outputs, adjusting the gain setting to suit the connected headphones.

The independent linear power supply separates the digital and analog circuits, reducing noise and interference. The system uses internal 12 V and 15 V voltage levels with real-time monitoring.

The 4-inch, 480 x 960-pixel touchscreen is angled at 15° for comfortable operation. The CNC-machined aluminum chassis provides durability while also assisting with heat dissipation.

In addition to its touchscreen, the X8 can be controlled through Android and iOS applications or a web interface on Windows and macOS. The IR remote control is available as an option, while firmware can be installed through online or local updates.

Digital inputs include USB-B, USB-C, optical, coaxial, and I2S with support for eight configurations. Integration with an audio system is assisted by 12 V trigger input and output, while RCA and XLR outputs provide analog connectivity.

The LUXSIN X8 Visual & Remote Kit replaces the original aluminum top panel with a high-strength transparent tempered glass cover, revealing the internal construction of the device. The package also includes a dedicated remote control.

The precisely cut glass cover features polished edges and an integrated EMI shielding film and has been tested at high temperatures. The included tool kit assists with replacing the cover. To protect the glass surface, do not place objects or other equipment on top of it.
