The Gelato Mic uses a 10 mm high magnetic flux dynamic driver. In an IEM, the size, structure and tuning of the driver fundamentally define the sound character. Dynamic drivers are known for their natural and energetic presentation, particularly in the bass region and in musical dynamics.

The purpose of the 10 mm driver is to give the Gelato Mic a full, energetic and easily enjoyable sound while preserving detail and controlled reproduction. The larger driver surface can help the bass appear not only audible, but also with proper body and stability.

One of the earphone’s key technical elements is the beryllium-coated composite dome diaphragm. The role of the diaphragm is to move extremely quickly and accurately in response to the audio signal while producing as little unwanted distortion as possible.

The beryllium coating plays a role in increasing rigidity, while the composite structure helps preserve flexibility and control.
