One of the device’s core technologies is DSD upsampling. Cen.Grand's proprietary algorithm can lift DSD64 all the way up to DSD1024, completely free from distortion. During the process, noise levels are significantly reduced while the sound texture and microdynamics become richer. This allows the listener to enjoy an exceptionally calm, airy, yet lively and natural sound that brings concert hall acoustics into the living room.

At the core of the device is a femtosecond-precision clock generator that directly controls D/A conversion. Synchronous Direct Clock Technology completely eliminates timing errors from jitter, resulting in natural, precise sound. Clock Blocking Technology ensures the DAC’s internal clock cannot be influenced by external sources, guaranteeing constant sound quality for any input signal.

The Deluxe model’s analog circuits have been completely redesigned with premium components. Dedicated topology and signal processing, optimized through multiple iterations, guarantee clean output. Separate power supplies for the analog and digital sections deliver noiseless operation. The device's refined, premium appearance makes it the centerpiece of any high-end system.

The DSDAC 1.0 Deluxe offers a wide range of connection options. The USB input supports native DSD up to DSD512 with galvanic isolation for noise reduction. SPDIF inputs—including AES/EBU, optical, coaxial, and BNC—allow DSD64 playback via DoP mode. Analog outputs are available in balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA, with precise volume control. The DAC can also be used as a preamplifier, providing up to +5 dB gain, ideal for minimalist high-end systems.

The POW (Parting of the Ways) interface represents a new generation in digital audio transmission. This technology separates data and clock transmission: audio data travels via optical cable, and the clock signal is sent through a coaxial BNC connector to the DAC. The advantage is that it completely eliminates noise, distortion, and jitter inherent to traditional SPDIF and USB protocols.
