Kii CONTROL - Control Unit
All inputs are located on the rear connector panel and can be activated with touch-sensitive buttons around the volume control. A dedicated input button (marked XLR) switches to the speaker's existing hardware input, which can still be used as either analogue or digital input. The Kii Control connects with a single included CAT6 cable, which also provides power. No additional power supply is needed. Importantly, the Kii CONTROL allows for lossless volume control within the Kii THREE DSP, ensuring the clearest signal path possible. The large volume knob also offers mute or dim functions and manual power control (off, standby). A dedicated touch button provides direct access to up to six user-defined preset profiles. Menu navigation and an OLED display significantly expand settings options, providing access to advanced system configurations, including manual power control (standby, LED brightness, DIM function, and limiter indication). Primary functions like volume, source selection, and mute are controllable via infrared remote control (RC5 type or Apple Remote).
The Kii CONTROL offers three additional digital inputs for the Kii THREE: coaxial SPDIF, optical TOSLINK, and USB (supporting up to LPCM 24/384kHz or DSD64/128 via USB).
