The Melodika Sky Blue Series is positioned between the Purple and Brown Sugar cable ranges. With the SBCX, the distinction from the Purple MDCX model is not based on BassCore or Solid Grip, which are used in Melodika speaker cables, but on dual shielding with Mylar foil and a copper braid offering at least 95 percent coverage, PTFE-insulated RCA plugs and dual PE and PVC insulation.
The SBCX is a 75 Ohm digital coaxial cable with RCA male to RCA male connectors for S/PDIF connections. Its 1.05 mm2 solid-core 4N OFC copper conductor, coaxial geometry, Mylar foil and high-density copper braid shielding support stable and protected digital signal transmission.
The 24-karat gold-plated RCA plugs feature PTFE insulation and distinctive notches for a more secure socket fit, while the conductors are terminated with silver-containing solder. The SBCX applies the Sky Blue Series’ consistent and durable construction to digital audio interconnects.
