Symmetrical USB D/A CONVERTER
The Topping D10 Balanced is a compact and extremely powerful symmetrical D/A converter with high quality components, rich in detail and precise sound. It features an ESS ES9038Q2M DAC chip and XMOS XU208 USB interface, which allows it to handle high quality music recordings up to PCM 384kHz/32bit and DSD256 resolution.
SYMMETRIC D/A CONVERTER
Unlike its older sibling, the Topping D10s, the D10 Balanced has a symmetrical analogue output with 6.3mm Jack connectors, but can also be used with XLR cable using the supplied adaptors. Digital signals can be received via a USB-B input, but there are also two digital outputs for optical and coaxial SPDIF connections.
ESS ES9038Q2M DAC CHIP
The D10 Balanced digital-to-analogue conversion stage is based on a high-performance 32-bit ESS ES9038Q2M DAC chip, which supports Topping HyperStream II and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator processes in hardware, resulting in excellent dynamic range, low distortion and rich detail.
XMOS XU208 USB interface
An XMOS XU208 USB interface sends data to the superior DAC chip, which, controlled by custom Thesycon driver software, supports high-resolution recording up to 384 kHz/32bit PCM and DSD256 resolution, with full ASIO compatibility.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL CONVERSION
Easily adaptable to your needs, the Topping D10 Balanced can be used as a D/A converter for high-quality connection between computer and active speaker, or as a USB interface for integrated or headphone amplifiers. It also has convenience features such as automatic on/off synchronisation with the computer and a clear display of the resolution of the programme being played.
