The Fosi Audio BOX X5 is a compact phono preamplifier supporting both MM and MC cartridges, with precise RIAA equalization and straightforward operation. Its aluminum alloy chassis provides a solid, clean foundation for integration into a vinyl playback system.
Four selectable gain levels of 38, 48, 56 and 66 dB allow the phono stage to accommodate cartridges with different output levels. An OPA1612 op-amp, high-precision resistors and capacitors, and gold-plated RCA connectors form a carefully engineered signal path.
The BOX X5 features RCA input and output connections, MM/MC selection, adjustable gain and a dedicated grounding terminal. Its compact enclosure makes it easy to position between a turntable and an amplifier or active speaker system.
