The Fosi Audio GR70 combines the classic character of tube amplifiers with a modern, compact and versatile design. It can be used as both a headphone amplifier and a preamplifier, making it suitable for personal listening and integration into a home HiFi system.

Its four-tube, dual-stage amplification is designed to produce a warm, smooth and detailed analogue sound. The replaceable tubes allow the system to be personalised and compatible tube types to be explored.

The GR70 uses two 5654W and two 6Ж4/6Ж8 vacuum tubes in a dual-stage amplifier circuit. The 5654W tubes handle voltage amplification, while the 6Ж4/6Ж8 tubes operate in the power amplification stage.

The carefully selected tube combination is designed to deliver balanced, transparent and textured sound reproduction. The replaceable tube design allows compatible alternatives to be used and the sound character to be tailored to individual preferences.

Selectable low- and high-impedance modes allow the GR70 to be matched with a variety of headphones and in-ear monitors. Low mode is designed for 16–120-ohm headphones, while high mode is intended for models rated between 120 and 300 ohms.

Selecting the appropriate impedance mode supports optimal control and cleaner sound from the connected headphones. The 6.35 mm and 3.5 mm sockets on the front panel allow the most commonly used wired headphone connections to be used directly.

The RCA input on the rear of the Fosi Audio GR70 allows a line-level analogue audio source to be connected. Through its RCA output, the device can also be used as a tube preamplifier with a compatible power amplifier or other analogue audio equipment.

The GR70 can, for example, be integrated into a system with a Fosi Audio V3 power amplifier and Q6 audio device. Connecting a suitable power amplifier and passive speakers creates a compact home HiFi system, while the GR70 also remains available for headphone listening.

Separate bass and treble controls allow the GR70's sound character to be adjusted to suit the headphones, audio system and individual listening preferences.

Both tone controls feature centre detents, making it easy to restore the neutral position without tone adjustment. This allows quick switching between personalised and more natural sound settings.

The large volume control positioned on top of the chassis is easy to reach and convenient to operate during desktop use. Its design provides precise access for setting the desired listening level.

The built-in precision damped potentiometer enables smooth and even adjustment. The large control knob and clearly arranged controls make the GR70 easier to use every day.

The GR70 delivers a rated headphone output power of 90 mW into a 32-ohm load, while its maximum output power reaches 300 mW at the same impedance.

The RCA connection has an output level of 1.2 V. A signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range of at least 97 dB provide clean, dynamic signal transmission, while the 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response covers the audible frequency range.

Ventilation openings on both sides of the chassis support airflow and help dissipate the heat generated by the vacuum tubes and internal components during operation.

The ventilation design helps reduce dust ingress while maintaining adequate airflow. Efficient cooling and thermal stability support the protection of internal components and reliable operation.

The entire Fosi Audio GR70 chassis is made from CNC-machined aluminium alloy. Its stable metal construction provides a durable build, while the compact size allows easy placement in headphone and home HiFi systems.

The finely sandblasted finish, clean lines and top-mounted vacuum tubes combine the classic appearance of tube equipment with a modern, minimalist design.
