The Fosi Audio C3 is a DAC and headphone amplifier designed to reproduce gaming audio with detail and precision. Its audiophile-grade components reveal subtle in-game details without altering the original character of the sound, providing greater depth and more lifelike reproduction.

Built around XMOS and TI chips, the system delivers clean separation, detailed spatial imaging and accurate directional cues for gaming and music listening with both headphones and desktop speakers.

StepSense™ detects and boosts the sound of footsteps by 3–9 dB in real time, allowing you to track enemy movement more accurately, even beyond your field of view. Its exceptionally low 10 ms latency supports faster reactions in FPS games.

The system focuses on footsteps without altering the sound of gunfire or explosions. StepSense™ is based on an extensive database of FPS audio and is continuously refined to improve accuracy and compatibility with more games.

The C3’s noise reduction function reduces background noise such as keyboard clicks and fan noise by up to 40 dB. Clearer voice transmission is equally beneficial during gaming, streaming and calls.

The 3.5 mm microphone input allows you to connect a compatible microphone or gaming headset, enabling both game audio and voice communication to be managed through a single desktop audio device.

In games and films that support multichannel output, 7.1 surround sound delivers realistic distance perception and an immersive soundstage. The feature also makes the spatial positioning of environments and events more vivid.

In compatible games such as Delta Force and Forza Horizon 5, enabling 7.1 audio provides more accurate spatial awareness and deeper immersion.

The Fosi Audio C3 features a flagship-grade chipset combining an XMOS XU316, a CS43131 DAC and two TPA6120 power amplifier chips. This HiFi-grade system is designed to reveal subtle gaming audio details while delivering clean separation, detailed spatial imaging and precise directional cues.

Through a UAC 2.0 connection, the C3 supports PCM at up to 32-bit / 384 kHz and DSD256. In UAC 1.0 mode, the maximum supported resolution is 16-bit / 48 kHz PCM, while the optical and coaxial inputs support 24-bit / 192 kHz PCM.

The streamlined browser-based control interface lets you switch between sound profiles and adjust EQ settings without installing separate software. The sound can be tailored to different game genres, competitive gaming, casual entertainment or focused music listening.

Custom sound settings and EQ profiles are available through the web interface at cc.fosiaudio.com. The device firmware can be updated online via USB-C.

The Fosi Audio C3 can be used with PC, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch systems. With support for headphones and desktop speakers, a single gaming DAC and amplifier can serve both competitive gaming and everyday entertainment.

Alongside coaxial and optical inputs, the C3 features a USB-C input capable of carrying both power and data, as well as a 3.5 mm microphone input. Audio can be routed through the 3.5 mm headphone output or the RCA output.

The C3’s all-aluminium alloy enclosure provides solid construction and a premium feel. It sits securely on a desk, while its compact, minimalist design occupies very little space.

The ergonomic front panel is tilted by 5 degrees for improved visibility and more comfortable desktop use. Clearly arranged buttons and sliders with distinct tactile feedback allow quick operation, even without looking at the device.
