The Fosi Audio SW10 active subwoofer complements your system’s main speakers with deeper, fuller bass bass. Whether you are watching movies, listening to music or playing games, it helps reproduce low-frequency details, effects and spatial information with greater impact.

The 10-inch subwoofer driver is paired with a 200-watt Class D amplifier capable of delivering 500 watts of peak power. The design aims to produce powerful, dynamic bass with low distortion, keeping low frequencies clean and defined even during intense scenes.

The innovative down-firing design directs sound energy towards the floor, using the reflected low frequencies tones to create smoother, more natural bass distribution throughout the room room. This placement also protects the driver from direct external impacts.

The large polypropylene-cone driver is designed to reproduce layered, full-bodied bass. When properly adjusted, the SW10 complements the main speakers without masking their midrange and treble performance.

Two bass-reflex ports on the rear of the SW10 allow air to flow more freely. Compared with similarly sized designs that use a single reflex port, the dual-port system provides greater airflow, contributing to deeper and fuller bass reproduction.

The reflex ports and down-firing driver work together to radiate high-energy low frequencies efficiently. The result is full-bodied yet clearly defined bass that integrates precisely with the system’s main speakers when properly adjusted.

The SW10’s DSP algorithm was specifically tuned by the Fosi Audio acoustic team for the subwoofer’s hardware. The digital signal processing is designed to use the available power efficiently while delivering more precise, controlled and deeper-reaching bass.

Built-in DRC limiting technology monitors highly dynamic scenes and helps prevent driver overload. This allows the subwoofer to operate cleanly and reliably during intense movie scenes and powerful musical passages.

The two built-in equalisation modes allow the SW10’s sound character to be matched to the content being played. EQ1 mode provides richer, more powerful bass for entertainment, while EQ2 mode focuses on faster transients and more precise low-frequency reproduction.

The selectable settings allow the same subwoofer to be used for dramatic home cinema effects, gaming and focused HiFi music listening. By choosing the appropriate mode, the bass character can be easily adapted to the recording and your personal preferences.

Intelligent signal detection automatically powers on the subwoofer when an input signal is detected. This means the SW10 is ready to use when the system starts, without requiring separate manual activation.

If no signal is received for 15 minutes, the unit automatically enters standby mode. This reduces unnecessary energy consumption, while the subwoofer resumes operation when it detects the next signal.

The LFE and RCA inputs allow the SW10 to be connected to a variety of amplifiers, AV receivers and audio systems. The RCA output also allows an additional active subwoofer or amplifier to be added, making it easy to expand the system later.

The adjustable 0 to 180-degree phase control helps align the subwoofer with the main speakers. The crossover frequency can be adjusted between 40 and 180 Hz, allowing precise control over which low frequencies are reproduced by the SW10 and supporting cleaner, more cohesive system sound.

The weight and rigidity of the MDF enclosure with its PVC finish reduce cabinet resonance and the resulting unwanted noise. The 14-kilogram construction provides a stable foundation for the large driver and amplifier without taking up unnecessary space.

The concealed down-firing driver, rear-mounted controls and clean side panels create a modern Nordic minimalist appearance. This allows the SW10 to fit easily into a home cinema, living room or studio environment.
