The HE1000 Unveiled carries on the design and planar technology of the manufacturer's flagship, while adapting to modern streaming needs, it now also has Wi-Fi Streaming Media Planar Headphone functions. In addition to the purely analog drive, the model is also capable of standalone, wireless, high-resolution playback, thus combining the worlds of classic high-end and digital audio in a single device.
Unlike Bluetooth audio transmission, which is unable to fully transmit lossless or high-bitrate content due to its limited bandwidth, the HE1000 Unveiled's Wi-Fi Streaming mode provides high bandwidth, stable data transmission and true high-resolution quality. The system supports most online music platforms, such as Apple Music, Spotify, Qobuz or Roon, so the capabilities of the high-end planar driver can be fully utilized even when streaming.
The headphones work as a true all-in-one system: they feature built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a high-performance processor, and the HIFIMAN-developed Himalaya Mini DAC, which offers 32bit/768kHz sampling, low distortion, and fast signal processing. The system also includes a dedicated low-noise headphone amplifier stage.
The drive is still based on the nanometer-thin diaphragm and Unveiled Stealth Magnet technology.
The new composite headband and the asymmetrical design that follows the shape of the ear provide excellent comfort, even during long listening sessions.
The headphones support high-resolution Bluetooth formats (LDAC, AAC, SBC) and also work in USB Audio Mode. A USB cable is included in the package
