The BC44Net connects two 4.4 mm balanced analog sockets. Its typical role is to carry the signal from a portable player or DAC with a dedicated 4.4 mm line output to the 4.4 mm balanced line input of an external amplifier or other analog device that explicitly supports this connection.

A physical 4.4 mm socket alone does not mean two devices can be connected. This cable is not a headphone extension lead and must not be used to connect two headphone outputs. Before use, check the function of both 4.4 mm connectors in the respective manuals, then select Line Out mode on the source device.

The BC44Net uses Litz Type II, high-purity Taiwanese OCC, or single-crystal copper, as its conductor material. The eight-core internal construction groups conductors of different diameters together, with every conductor individually insulated.

The inner layers use Japanese NUC foamed HDPE and high-transparency SoftFlex PVC insulation. The outer high-density, desert-coloured nylon braid provides a pleasant touch during daily bending while protecting the cable.

Each signal conductor in the BC44Net uses a shielded construction, with the shielding layer connected to the fifth contact of the 4.4 mm connector. According to the manufacturer’s design, the shielding is grounded at both ends to manage external electromagnetic interference that may be picked up by the cable.

Short interconnect cables are often used in confined spaces and subject to significant bends. The cable’s moulded internal reinforcement and the two-stage fixing of its outer titanium-alloy housing add structural stability where the plug meets the cable, while the braided section remains flexible to route.

The BC44Net specifically addresses the frequent bending common to short cables. The inner housing is moulded together with the cable, then the outer titanium-alloy shell is secured around it by a threaded joint, reinforcing the area around the connector at multiple points.

This construction supports neat cable routing when two portable devices are stacked or their connectors are located close together. Do not bend the cable sharply, and always grip the plug housing rather than pulling directly on the cable when disconnecting it.

Both lengths use the same 4.4 mm balanced signal path and cable construction. The choice does not indicate a difference in sound quality, but determines the space left between the two devices and how safely the cable can be routed in a natural curve.

The 10 cm length is practical for two devices positioned close together. The 15 cm version provides more freedom for a larger connector distance, devices in cases or on stands, or a more relaxed cable curve.

One practical setup connects the 4.4 mm line output of a portable player to an external analog amplifier with a 4.4 mm balanced line input.
