In designing the E11BT, the benchmark was its predecessor, the E10 series, which won the What HIFI English magazine award as the best product in its category for six years. Its sound is musical and detailed, with a surprisingly wide soundstage - its quality is leagues above its price tag. Its distinctive, characteristic bass does not overshadow the mid and high ranges - yet listening to music with it is a unique experience. Its dual batteries provide up to 20 hours of talk time and up to 48 hours of music listening time, while its neckband guarantees comfortable long-term wear. The magnet built into the earpieces prevents them from falling from the neck.
Technology:
The metal earphone housing is made of rigid yet lightweight aluminum through machining. Its rigidity makes the E11BT quite resistant to everyday use, while reducing distortion caused by resonances. Its dual batteries uniquely allow for about 20 hours of music playback (with BT 5.0 device at half volume). Its comfortable and soft neckband sits unnoticed around the neck, while the minimal weight of the speaker capsules is almost imperceptible. The built-in magnets in the ear parts help keep them together around the neck and prevent loss.
Driver:
The new, custom-designed 10mm dynamic drivers provide detailed, refined, yet very accurate sound. The SoundMAGIC E11BT offers a balanced sound profile with an expansive soundstage, meticulous musical details, and deeply penetrating, warm, textured bass. The ergonomic design results in good isolation from external noises and a comfortable fit for long-term wear.
Signal Processing:
The digital signals received via Bluetooth connection are processed and converted into dynamic, detailed analog signals by the DAC-DSP built into the control unit. The 24-bit DAC (digital-analog converter) is capable of enhancing sound quality using a method known as upsampling, and can create impressive sound from the 24/96 DAC out of the 16Bit 44.1kHz sampling signals received via the BT connection. Its sound quality resembles that of significantly more expensive products, earning it an excellent rating in terms of price-performance ratio. Thanks to the three-button, sweat and splash-proof remote control, we can easily control the volume, track skipping, starting, and stopping with both Android and iOS operating systems. The built-in "mems" microphone ensures excellent speech clarity during phone calls.
Device Reset:
Numerous external interfering wireless transmitters and devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers) can disrupt the operation of the Bluetooth device built into the headset. In case of abnormal operation or connection error, you have the option to reset the E11Bt to restore it to factory settings.
- While the device is on, press and hold the middle multifunction button for at least 20 seconds until the blue LED flashes twice. At this point, the device resets to factory settings and can be restarted.
