At the core of Harmony GaNM is GaN FET technology, which far surpasses traditional silicon-based semiconductors. High-speed transistors allow faster switching, which is especially important for precise reproduction of transients. This technology ensures an extremely dynamic, detailed, and transparent sound signature. The low-end is deep and defined, and micro-information appears delicately and without distortion, even at low volume. The use of GaN enables a compact and fanless design without compromising performance or thermal stability.

Harmony GaNM features a fully balanced circuit architecture with symmetrical input and output stages. This design significantly reduces common-mode noise and total harmonic distortion while improving signal integrity across the full frequency range. The balanced topology also eliminates ground loop issues often found in simple single-ended circuits. The device provides 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms, confidently driving most speakers while maintaining control and detail even at dynamic peaks.

The Harmony GaNM’s switched-mode power supply is specifically optimized for audio applications. At its core is the NXP TEA2017AAT controller, which provides precise voltage regulation and ultra-low noise through power factor correction (PFC) and an LLC resonant topology. Premium Infineon CoolSiC™ MOSFETs ensure fast switching and minimal conduction losses, while Rubycon Japanese capacitors contribute to reliable operation thanks to their long lifespan, low ESR values, and thermal stability. The device also features medical-grade EMI filtering, ensuring noise-free operation even in sensitive environments. Thanks to the fanless design, the GaNM operates completely silently, minimizing electromagnetic interference so that all attention can be directed to the music.

The chassis is CNC-machined from a single block of aerospace-grade aluminum, providing excellent mechanical stability, passive heat dissipation, and longevity. The monolithic construction minimizes vibration—critical for precise sound reproduction—while delivering an elegant, clean appearance. Harmony GaNM follows Laiv’s Unified Harmony Series Design philosophy, visually and functionally harmonizing with the series’ other components such as DACs, DDCs, and headphone amplifiers. Unified chassis dimensions, synchronized OLED displays, and a well-organized connector layout simplify system integration and daily use.

Harmony GaNM’s modern, minimalist layout simplifies everyday use. The front OLED display clearly shows status, and left/right channel LEDs help identify mono-block pairs. The 12V trigger input and output enable synchronized system control, while the wide 100–260 V voltage range provides global compatibility. Every function is designed to deliver the highest sound quality without compromising usability.
