KIDJAMZ VOLUME-LIMITING TECHNOLOGY

Hearing should be protected from a young age, as even short-term exposure to loud volume can cause permanent hearing loss in children. KidJamz child-safe headphones use volume-limiting technology to ensure that the sound transmitted from the device is safe for children. While standard headphones and earbuds can easily exceed safe volume levels by at least 50%, KidJamz uses a protected volume limiter built into the structure of the speakers to maintain sound pressure levels (SPL) below the doctor-recommended 85 dB, keeping children's hearing safe and contributing to the development of good listening habits for a lifetime.

The hidden switch allows parents to disable the volume limiter so the KidJamz can be used in noisy environments. This switch is protected from accidental activation and toggles between volume limited (85 dB) and unlimited modes, allowing parents full control over the listening experience.
