Fine step sizes enable subtle late-night listening just as well as high-energy dynamics; occasional faint clicks during relay switching are normal and harmless.

Left and right channels receive fully independent power via two UK-made AMPLIMO transformers for better channel separation and negligible crosstalk. Three encapsulated toroidal transformers—dedicated to the display, volume control, and buffer/amplification stages—prevent mutual interference between subsystems.
