BLUETOOTH RECEIVER AND DAC
Rechargeable battery-powered audio receiver with high-resolution Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, ES9018Q2C with DAC chip, analogue, SPDIF optical digital and headphone outputs. Compatible with Bluetooth 5.0 apt-X, aptX LL, aptX-HD and LDAC devices. The BC3 lets you play high-definition music from a laptop, smartphone, tablet or other Bluetooth-connected device without a cable connection.
Thanks to the CSR8675 BT chip, the BC3 supports the latest Bluetooth audio standards (BT 5.0 SBC / AAC / aptX / aptX - LL / aptX-HD / LDAC) and can play digital music up to 96kHz/24bit resolution. A wide range of connections (digital Mini-Toslink, analogue line and headphone outputs) provide an ideal connectivity solution for linking Bluetooth audio sources to a system, desktop D/A converters, integrated amplifiers or headphones.
The built-in CSR8675 Bluetooth chip can receive digital audio up to 96kHz/24bit resolution with excellent quality wireless connectivity, and the unit is also Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified.
The 3.5 mm Jack socket can be used as an analogue output and digital SPDIF output, with the necessary adaptor included. The universal output allows convenient wireless connection of Bluetooth music sources to a D/A converter or amplifier with a digital input that does not have Bluetooth connectivity. With the right source, you can send up to 96 kHz resolution LDAC signals to the BC3 and pass them on via SPDIF output without any significant loss of quality.

The device is therefore Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified.

The analogue line and headphone outputs make the most of the decoder circuitry on the ES9018Q2C DAC chip, which also includes a headphone amplifier stage, so you can drive your wired headphones without the need for an external amplifier. The line outputs can be used to add high-quality Bluetooth connectivity to existing integrated amplifiers or active speakers, but the BC3 is also a handy device for connecting to a car's sound system, allowing passengers to send music freely to the vehicle's built-in sound system.
The Topping BC3 Bluetooth receiver is equipped with an 800mAh battery, which can provide up to 11 hours of battery life after 3 hours of charging. Charging the built-in battery is easy with the included USB-C cable.
