The Fosi Audio K7 is a multifunctional HiFi DAC and headphone amplifier developed based on feedback from gamers and music enthusiasts. It combines digital source selection, high-resolution signal conversion, headphone amplification, a microphone input and an RCA line output in a single compact device.

Its USB, optical, coaxial and Bluetooth inputs allow it to connect to computers, gaming consoles and other compatible digital audio sources. With its 3.5 mm single-ended and 4.4 mm balanced headphone outputs, as well as its RCA output, it can serve as the centre of a desktop audio system optimised for driving headphones and speakers.

The Fosi Audio K7 is compatible with PS5, PS5 Pro and Nintendo Switch consoles via a driver-free, plug-and-play connection, making it suitable for gaming, music listening and everyday computer use as part of a desktop setup.

The 3.5 mm microphone input allows a compatible microphone to be connected, while the headphone amplifier delivers game audio through the selected 3.5 mm or 4.4 mm output. The bass and treble controls allow the sound character to be adjusted to suit the game, music or individual listening preferences.

Digital-to-analogue conversion in the K7 is handled by an AK4493S DAC chip, while an XMOS XU208 processor manages USB audio signals. The headphone outputs are powered by TPA6120 amplifier circuits, making the device suitable for high-resolution sources and a variety of headphones.

Through its USB connection, the K7 supports decoding PCM audio at up to 384 kHz / 32-bit and DSD256. The integrated chipset is designed to provide detailed, accurate and low-distortion sound reproduction for music, gaming and other desktop audio applications.

The Fosi Audio K7 provides a 4.4 mm balanced and a 3.5 mm single-ended headphone output, allowing it to be used with compatible HiFi and gaming headphones equipped with different connectors. The two output options make it easier to integrate the device into an existing headphone system.

The headphone amplifier delivers up to 2100 mW of output power. The actual available power depends on the output used, the impedance of the connected headphones and other load characteristics.

The K7 provides USB-C, optical, coaxial and Bluetooth inputs for connecting a variety of digital audio sources. These input options allow a computer, gaming console, television, network streamer or other compatible audio device to be integrated into the system.

The RCA output sends the signal to powered speakers, a power amplifier or another compatible analogue audio device. The K7 can therefore be used as a headphone amplifier, a standalone DAC or the central source-selection unit of a complete desktop audio system.

Bluetooth connectivity with aptX HD and aptX LL codec support complements the K7's wired digital inputs. aptX HD provides high-resolution wireless audio transmission, while aptX LL offers low latency.

Bluetooth audio supports a sampling resolution of 24-bit / 48 kHz, while latency is up to 40 ms with a compatible aptX LL connection, making it suitable for videos and games where keeping sound synchronised with the picture is important.

Separate bass and treble settings allow the K7's sound character to be adjusted to suit the headphones, speakers, game or individual listening preferences. The tone controls enable personalised adjustment of low and high frequencies.

The K7 delivers clean and accurate sound reproduction with a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 121 dB, THD+N of no more than 0.0002% and a noise floor of no more than 6.5 µV. Low-noise LDO circuits provide clean power delivery, while gain and protection circuits ensure stable operation.

The compact K7 makes its key functions easy to access with two large control knobs and five shortcut buttons. Its angled chassis provides ergonomic desktop operation, allowing settings to be adjusted comfortably from a seated position.

The high-resolution display shows the operating status and current settings in real time. The clear user interface makes managing inputs, volume and sound settings faster and easier.

The Fosi Audio K7 features a solid aluminium-alloy chassis that provides a stable, wear-resistant construction and a clean metallic appearance. Its compact design takes up little space, making it easy to accommodate in smaller desktop audio and gaming systems.
