Its 10.2 mm diaphragm features a 60-layer titanium coating, supported by a dual-magnet system and a triple acoustic chamber structure. The compact CNC-machined housing, replaceable 0.78 mm 2-pin cable and 4.4 mm balanced connector create a modern and durable construction.

ONIX BETA XI2 - Portable DAC and Headphone Amplifier with Tube 32bit 768kHz DSD512
The ONIX XI2 Beta is a high-end USB dongle DAC/AMP designed for portable audiophile performance. It features two Cirrus Logic CS43198 DACs that support up to 768 kHz/32-bit PCM and DSD512 formats, paired with two JAN6418 tubes for rich, customizable sound. Users can switch between transistor and tube modes, with symmetrical output power of 550 mW @ 32 Ω. The amplifier section features dual OPA1662 and four BUF634A chips, which provide precision in a compact form factor. Despite its power, the Beta is optimized for low battery consumption and wide compatibility with UAC 1.0/2.0.
Made of aluminum with a microphone-free tube suspension, the XI2 Beta features 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm outputs, a USB-C connector, and a 0.87" screen for in-device settings. Hardware buttons provide quick volume and playback control, while a multi-color LED indicates sampling frequencies. The Eddict Player app improves usability, and the included ONIX OL1 silver-plated copper data cable ensures a high-quality connection.
The XI2 Beta is not a direct successor to the XI1 Alpha, but builds on its popularity to further develop ONIX's portable Hi-Fi concept. The product weighs 45.3g.
