The design pays homage to the original Shanling M8 and aims to surpass its rich sound and bass with the new flagship AKM AK4499EX and AK4191 DAC chips and the latest ADI AD8397 headphone amplifier chip.
The M8T offers quick switching between tube output and transistor mode for versatility. It features an updated, open Android 13 system providing long-term updates and application compatibility and supports easy installation of third-party music apps and streaming services with bit-perfect sound processing.
