SMSL SP400
Desktop headphone amplifier
SMSL with the SP400 offers an excellent headphone amplifier based on a solid interior design. Inclusively integrates the THX amplifier chip known for its incredible performance, as well as symmetrical and traditional inputs and outputs.

THX amplifier chip
The SP400 amplifier circuitry contains a high-performance THX AAA-888 chip. It is capable of achieving the high power output typical of the vast majority of headphones on the market, including the most demanding ones, while keeping harmonic distortion very low. This chip is, of course, accompanied by high quality and high precision components to enable the SP400 to reach its full potential and reproduce rich and accurate sound.
In addition, the SP400 supports the playback of Master Authenticated Quality (MQA) files, which is as close as possible to the original studio recording.

Symmetric and conventional connectors
Versatile, the SP400 has symmetrical and conventional inputs and outputs. The SP400 is equipped with both symmetrical and conventional inputs and outputs, so both conventional RCA and symmetrical XLR inputs are available. On the output side, the SP400 offers a conventional 6.35 mm jack headphone output, a symmetrical XLR 4-pin headphone output and a symmetrical XLR Pre-Out output.

High precision volume control
The SP400's relay volume control allows you to adjust the volume with extreme precision while ensuring low noise levels. The volume control has 256 levels.

Unique power supply
The SP400 power supply circuit integrates a unique 24 W high efficiency and low noise power supply. These allow all audio circuits to receive a clean electrical signal, which is essential to ensure high quality sound reproduction.

Adjustable amplification
The SP400 offers 3 levels of gain control to adapt to as many headphones as possible. So you can use either a high-sensitivity headphone or a high-impedance model.
